Acorns
Walking along on a crisp autumn day, shuffling through the leaves and kicking up an acorn or two. That was the inspiration for the acorn jewelry in the fall collection. Stylized acorns, a gdesign original based on FishScaleTM beads form the basis of these necklaces and earrings. Clear glass on the bottom and opaque with the acorn cap, set off with gold, these acorns are definitely a conversation starter.
Deep red-orange carnelian was the basis of the Red Oak necklace (left). The acorns and hand-hammered leaf links make for a very structural necklace perfect with your new fall sweater. The acorns look just beautiful with the red and gold Swarovski crystal leaves in the Swirling Leaves necklace (right). A pair of acorn earrings are the perfect complement. Shine-OnTM beads
Let’s get this party started! A gdesign original, these Shine-OnTM beads, paired with faceted semi-precious stones make for the perfect party accessory. Shine-OnTM beads are made by melting pure silver leaf to hot glass. The result, when they fuse, is a soft silver glow that reflects the light from the faceted stones and bounces off your face. It’s truly beautiful.
Electric Lemondrops (left) in faceted lemon quartz with matching earrings make an elegant yet dramatic statement. GalaxyTM baubles
Billions and billions of stars make up a galaxy, according to Carl Sagan, and these GalaxyTM beads manage to fit them all in a single bauble! These gdesign original GalaxyTM beads are made with layers and layers of glass with mica powder embedded under clear glass. Add in some pure silver fused to the glass and you have a unique bead that looks just like far away galaxies with twinkling stars.
The Nebula necklace (left) makes the boldest statement with its larg bauble and heavy hammered chain. Next is the swirly Milky Way necklace with matching earrings. Front and center is the delicate Andromeda V necklace with slinky earrings. The Andromeda H necklace with the dark purple iolite coins is truly beautiful.
