Packaging
A very special feature of a gdesign purchase is the beautiful velvet and silk sac (left) that each purchase comes in. Olive green silk velvet and ballet pink silk charmeuse sacs with pink organza ribbons are the welcoming committee for each gdesign trio or duo. The sac makes for a beautiful gift and serves as a practical, protective cover for your precious gdesign jewelry. A pink microfiber cloth is also included.

Lifetime Guarantee
Your gdesign jewelry comes with a lifetime guarantee. If it should ever break, come apart, get bent, or whatever, please contact: info@gdesignontheweb.com to get directions on how to ship your jewelry back to the gdesign studio for repair. You pay for shipping to the studio and gdesign will pay for shipping it back to you. gdesign will make every effort to restore your jewelry to its former state but keep in mind the following: if you break a piece of art glass, the replacement piece will be different as it's all hand-crafted. Also, the original semi-precious stones may no longer be available. gdesign will work with you to make the best choices.
Complementary Sizing
We are all different sizes! gdesign makes jewelry to fit most people and much of gdesign's jewelry is adjustable. If you purchase jewelry and it doesn't fit, there are several options:
- return it to gdesign to have it sized. Many times jewelry can be made longer or shorter by adding or subtracting rings and links. gdesign is happy to do this free of charge. Email info@gdesignontheweb.com for instructions on how to ship the jewelry to the studio.
- get an extender. gdesign makes an 'S'-shaped extender that can be used to lengthen and shorten necklaces. Just email info@gdesignontheweb.com for more details.
- return the jewelry for a refund (see below)
Returning Jewelry
Purchasing items off the internet is sometimes a bit scary. You aren't sure if it will fit, be the color you thought, or just look right. gdesign recognizes there is a bit of risk in that so we want to make it easy. gdesign will cheerfully refund your purchase price if you buy jewelry and decide it doesn't work for you. All we ask is that you make that decision within 30 days of purchasing. Contact info@gdesignontheweb.com for instructions on how to ship the jewelry back to gdesign and get your refund.
Sizing Earrings
gdesign makes all sizes of earrings. There is no standard sizing of earrings and no standard way to wear them. Some women with shorter necks, like them dangling on their necks, and some women don’t want anything hanging much below their ears. Certain things might work better with shorter or longer hair, but it really comes down to a personal preference.
gdesign’s ‘jewelry sizing’ page on some jewelry selections will give you an idea of how long the earrings actually are. They are measured as they hang from the hook that goes in the ear to the bottom of the necklace. Since ears are pierced in different ways and earlobes are vastly different, this will give you a way to figure out how long the earrings would be on you. See the picture above.
Sizing Bracelets
Most gdesign bracelets are sizeable. Either they come on a chain and the hook can be placed anywhere on the chain, or with the Question Mark clasps, the hook can be placed anywhere on the clasp. This offers the most flexibility. However, sometimes the design calls for a bracelet that needs to be a pre-set size. When that happens, you will need to specify a size when you order the bracelet. The ‘jewelry sizing’ page on some gdesign selections will indicate if you need to be concerned with sizing.
Standard sizing of women’s bracelets is:
- Petite for a 5" - 6" wrist
- Small for a 6" - 7" wrist
- Medium for a 7" - 8" wrist
- Large for a 8" - 9" wrist
This measurement is taken just below the wrist bone (the one that sticks out on your wrist) just at the top of your hand. The bracelet will fall below your actual wrist size. If your wrist measures 7", the bracelet may be 8" or longer depending on how it's constructed. Bulkier bracelets tend to be longer to account for the bulk. When measuring, best to use a flexible tape measure. If you don’t have one of those, then use a piece of string to fit around your wrist and then hold it against a yardstick to get the number of inches.
When ordering, specify Petite, Small, Medium or Large or your actual wrist size if you have the measurement. If you are under the 5” or over the 9” then be sure to let us know. But don’t worry! Even if you aren’t sure, take your best guess. gdesign always provides complementary sizing of all jewelry. So if you buy something and it doesn’t fit like you expected, then it can be fixed. That’s one of the great things about designer jewelry.
