The 'g' behind gdesign is me, Gail Zona. My personal website is www.gailzona.com. My design studio is in Newburyport, MA, a quaint, old New England community by the sea which frequently serves as inspiration for my designs. There is a large artist population here, a fabulous playhouse called the Firehouse (I am a big fan!), fantastic shops, festivals all year round, and wonderful restaurants. Come for a visit!

gdesign's cause of choice is Breast Cancer Awareness.  Each year I work closely with a breast cancer survivor, many of whom are personal friends, to design Breast Cancer Jewels. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the survivor's selected charity. Please join me in eradicating this disease.
I work in glass, metal, and semi-precious stone. My design studio is at 46 Water St in Newburyport. My glass studio is at Diablo Glass School, in Roxbury. They are a fantastic group of people. I cannot say enough good about Sean and his staff.
 I am a member of the International Society of Glass Beadmakers, group of people dedicate the ancient art of glass making. They are definitely an inspiration to me!
I also belong to the Newburyport Art Association,  representing the artists of Newburyport and the surrounding area. They have a fine gallery and many wonderful community programs.
